Located in the seaside village of Elounda, on the northeast coast of Crete, our villa is an ideal place for a family vacation, with plenty of space for up to 10 guests.\u00a0<\/p>

Designed in such a way to combine modern minimalist style with simplicity. Villa Mimaze consists of 5 bedrooms, 4 of which have en-suite bathrooms. It\u2019s separated into two floors with special emphasis being placed on letting you have a breathtaking panoramic view of the Cretan sea.<\/p>

Villa Mimaze also boasts an outdoor swimming pool with hydromassage that sets the tone for rest and relaxation. The interior pays respect to minimalism and functionality as each room is fully functional and well equipped, giving you an extra privacy you may need.<\/p>

The luxurious Villa Mimaze is located in Elounda, a beautiful coastal town of Eastern Crete. Elounda is located in the same place where the ancient, glorious city of Olous once stood.<\/p>

With a long history stretching back to Minoan civilization, and even mentioned by Homer in his epics, ancient Olous was an important and powerful city-state during the classical period which, thanks to its strategic location, continued to flourish through Roman and Byzantine times.<\/p>

\u00abMimaze\u00bb, the name of our villa, is an acronym derived from the names of Mi<\/strong>chael and Ma<\/strong>ria Ze<\/strong>rvos, the original owners of this large estate in the early 1900s. The late Michael and Maria Zervos,<\/p>

On the sea in the south-east section of Elounda, everything is a short stroll away, the town\u2019s best restaurants are either left or right out of the front gate and you have stunning views across Ormos Spinalongas and Poro Bay. Surrounded by houses and gardens, yet blissfully peaceful. We have never enjoyed greater hospitality than that supplied by Mike. Never intrusive, far from it, but always available. Ask for his recommendations on any topic and you will never be disappointed. We will be back and it was a real privilege, Mike! The family owned and operated 5 bedroom villa with wheelchair access is perfectly situated in this gorgeous little Mediterranean town. The villa alone is architecturally stunning with a minimalist design and a breathtaking panoramic view. The villa manager, Michael, went above and beyond in accommodating our group of 10. His recommendations for beaches and restaurants never failed to impress and actually turned the trip into an unforgettable bespoke experience. Everything about the villa has been well thought through so well...the design, the facilities, everything was just first class. We were a party of 9 across 2 families. We enjoyed our week spending some time exploring but also enjoying the pool and just being in the villa: the pool..the view...the outdoor shower downstairs...the view from the master bedroom shower..sitting on the balconies and admiring the view...the coffee machines..the super comfortable beds...the shutters....all the thoughtful touches. Michael and his family\/team were amazing. So friendly and helpful. They helped us with so many things...getting shopping in for our arrival, recommendations, booking restaurants\/taxis\/boats for us, they really made us feel so welcome. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tElounda is beautiful, Villa Mimaze is beautiful and Mike is an excellent host. I have never given a 10\/10 review but this trip was exceptional in so many ways. Mike was attentive but left us to ourselves. He arranged lots of extra things for us when we asked and was always available if needed. The villa is magnificent, exactly as it is in the pictures with every attention to detail. We were 2 families of 9 in total and there was plenty of room if you needed to fit more people. The rooms were beautiful with great beds and showers in every one. I've already recommended it to lots of my friends.
